Mum, we'll always remember your laughter and the good times we had. There are many memories of the times when we were young and you and Dad took us all to the seaside in Rhyl. We had some great times together. I miss you so much and would love to be able to talk to you again.
Dad, it;s been so long since I saw you but I remember you so well...I wish you were here putting your head around the door and peeking in on the kids, and lifting the little ones up on your shoulders. Kayleigh and Brooke would really love that.
Mum,
You were born with very little, but the love of your Mum and Dad. You had some rough times growing up, but all these trials and tribulations made you who you were. When your Dad died so young, you had some even rougher times, but Nana brought you all through it. You were the last of 5 sisters, and I hope you have all met up again.
Dad was the love of your life, and you brought all us kids up after he died at age 61, in 1981, which left you to cope alone for the next 25 years. You had 9 children and we all loved you dearly. All the grandkids and great grandkids and even great great grandkids, loved you because of who you were, and they were all sad when you left us. What a legacy to leave behind. At last count, 9 kids, 22 grandkids, 21 great grandkids, and 3 great great grandkids, and still going strong.
You were Nana and little Nana to all the grandkids, and Mum to more than just your own.
You worked hard and gave us everything we ever needed, mostly love. We may not be rich, moneywise, but we were billionaire's in family life.
God bless for now, love to Dad and the rest of the family.
Dad, I have been researching the family and have found out lots about Grandfather. He had a few brothers and sisters I never knew anything about, and they came from Maryhill in Glasgow. Grandma also had several brothers and sisters in Ireland, and mostly they were farmers.
Loving you always.
Mum, it's May 14th 2009, and I have an update for you. I now have 2 grandchildren. Kayleigh Marie will be 6 in September, and our new addition Brooke Elizabeth who was born on March 18th, 2009. Both are Courtnay's daughters and Shannon is planning on getting married next May 29th, 2 days after the 4th anniversary of your death. It will be the third anniversary coming up this month. Hope you are watching with Dad, and enjoying all the new additions to the family. Tyler is doing well in university and has grown very tall just like Dad. He reminds me of our Bernard sometimes when I look at him. Talk again soon. Love you very much, now and forever, kisses and hugs from us all.

Time is short

Because of the choices I made, I live far away from the rest of the family. It's been lonely many times, even though I have my own family here. I wish I realized how short time is and how much I missed you both over the years. I would have made more effort to see you more often, if I realized just how fast time flies and how little we really have...here are some words for you....

You're back together after all this time, but we're left here in pain.

We understand you waited patiently, to see each other again.

The years were rough Mum, but you did great, though you're heart was broken in two,

You took care of the rest of us, which was never easy to do

The years went by and you silently wept, as slowly your memory faded into the past

We never realized what you were going through, it seemed to happen so fast.

I'm sorry I didn't see the changes, they were subtle day by day,

I just remember enjoying the talks and listening to what you had to say.

Well, you're back where you belong, with Dad and the rest of the family too,

I just want to say, Mum, I'll always love and remember you.

Your daughter Frances.
